part 1: Message in a bottle

While the regulators of the world
were busy,
devised dogmas, phrased denominations;
proclaimed morals behind grey walls.
she warily stayed distant.

In that he stepped inside her,
saw
and became one with her.

(Marion Albrecht)

part 2: Ultima

While Eve`s courage trespassed the forbidden,
tasted the fruit and with it ingested

Heaven and hell, right and wrong,
birth and death,
Adam perceived all the sense.

In that she stepped inside,
smiled,
and became one with him.

Eva

“The painting Eva has a woman
in a state of reflection,
her contemplation
complimented by the two heads
in her imagined universe.”

(John K. Grande)

“This painting chalice captures a spirit
within a flow of colours,
somehow universal,
embodying a cosmos,
itself so estranged, so temporary,
as if magical.
Marion Albrecht is searching for an interiority,
to build a visuality.
Painting becomes a way
of communicating aspects of discord or harmony.
The two yin yang elements exist alongside each other.”

(John K. Grande)

Aschera

part 3: Aschera

So while further
loving couples
free themselves
from predetermined
patterns of thought,
Aschera and her husband
are digging the rose
out of the snow

(Marion Albrecht)
